Work In Process

Ahearn & Soper offers Work-in-Process (WIP) solutions to report production data in real-time. Solutions can be Wireless, Batch (Portable), or Hard Wired. Systems record any production transactions as they are completed by the employee, eliminating the need for workers to handwrite information or go back to a PC for input. These systems reduce errors, misinformation, or the lack of information.

Monitor work in process at each defined step in the production cycle to see what products are entering each phase of production. All steps, stations or processes can be monitored in the entire work flow to provide real-time information on inventory, lots on hold, reworks, and scrap. This helps identify and eliminate problems in the manufacturing process, increase productivity and quality product yield.
